Elizabeth Nicholson, CCHRA(C), C.Bus.

Elizabeth, a founder and the President of Columba Bay Training and Development brings 25 years of management, leadership and teaching skills to support the needs of business and educators.

Elizabeth is a graduate of the School of Health Record Science in Halifax with a Registration in Health Record Administration. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University with a Certificate in Business Administration and also holds certificates in Hospital Departmental Management, Human Resource Management and Project Management.

During her career in Health Record Management, she provided leadership and developed service requirements during the mergers of several Halifax hospitals. She has hired, trained, and evaluated hundreds of staff and has a unique insight into the interpersonal issues of staffing and managing conflict in the workplace. In addition, she has taught Records Management in the Business Department at the Nova Scotia Community College and Medical Terminology in the Speciality Programs Department.

Elizabeth brings a wealth of management experience, valuable insights into the interpersonal issues of staffing and developing staff potential for success in the workplace. She applies her insights in assessing interpersonal issues, conflict resolution issues, and developing the potential in people for building strong relationships for a healthy workplace.

She is a member of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and The Centre for Women in Business.
